OKV Dukkah is a spice rub that includes fennel, coriander, cumin, salt and pepper. We have substituted roasted, coarse-milled grape seeds for the traditional hazelnut and sesame seeds; allowing us to provide a nut-feed alternative.
Although dukkah originates from the eastern Mediterranean, it has become the wine pairing favourite at wine bars and tasting rooms throughout Australia and New Zealand. It is served with bread that you dip into grape seed or olive oil, and then into the dukkah.
OKV Dukkah also makes an excellent rub for meat, bird, and fish. It can also be added as a salad topping, or to biscuits and breads.
Be forewarned, OKV Dukkah can be very addictive.
