Our WineCrush Powder is made using the finest grape wine grapes from wineries in the Okanagan Valley. After wineries finish pressing grapes, the pomace (skins and seeds)are left over, with a great deal of flavour and nutrients attached. We take those products, dehydrate and mill them down into a flour-like powder, and turn them into this innovative new product, which can then be used in many dishes.
The flavour is already delicious, but to bring out even more of the grape taste mix it with any kind of fat; butter, oil, yogurt, for example, and let it sit overnight or for a few hours. The flavour gets stronger the longest it rests! It can be used virtually everywhere – savory or sweet – so experiment and tell us what you like.
